Our approach
We aim to provide a clear, keyboard-accessible and responsive website with readable typography, meaningful headings, visible focus states, alternative text for informative images and controls that work across common screen sizes.
Using the website
You should be able to zoom text, navigate the principal pages by keyboard, use the skip link to reach the main content, and access the shop on desktop, tablet and mobile devices. Browser and operating-system accessibility tools can also adjust text size, contrast and speech output.
Known limitations
- Some older book-cover images may have limited descriptive alternative text.
- Documents or catalogues supplied by third parties may not be fully accessible.
- Third-party checkout, payment, wishlist or embedded services may have accessibility behaviour outside our direct control.
Requesting an alternative format
If you need product information, a policy, catalogue or document in another practical format, email contact@orchestrabooks.co.uk. Tell us the page or document concerned and the format that would help.
Reporting a problem
Please send the page address, a description of the problem, the device or assistive technology used, and any suggested solution. We will review the issue and respond as reasonably possible.
Continuous improvement
Accessibility is reviewed as the catalogue, plugins and website features change. This statement will be updated when significant improvements or limitations are identified.
