Dispatch
In-stock orders are normally prepared for dispatch within the working-day estimate shown on the product or checkout page. Orders containing several books may be held until all items are ready unless we agree to split the shipment.
United Kingdom delivery
Available services and prices are displayed at checkout. Delivery times begin after dispatch and are estimates unless a guaranteed service is expressly offered. Remote areas and highland or island destinations may take longer or attract a different carrier charge.
International delivery
International delivery is available only to destinations supported at checkout or agreed with us. Delivery estimates exclude customs processing. The recipient is responsible for local import VAT, customs duty, clearance fees and restrictions unless checkout expressly states that those charges are included.
Address accuracy
Please check the delivery address before submitting the order. Contact us immediately if a correction is required. Once a parcel has been handed to the carrier, an address change may not be possible and additional costs may apply.
Tracking and missed delivery
Where tracking is available, details are sent by email or shown in the customer account. The customer is responsible for following carrier instructions for safe-place delivery, collection or redelivery.
Delay or non-delivery
If an order has not arrived within the expected period, contact us with the order number. We will investigate with the carrier. Please do not treat a parcel as lost before the carrier’s investigation period has passed.
Damaged parcels
Take clear photographs of the external packaging, internal protection, shipping label and affected books. Contact us promptly and keep all packaging until we confirm the next step.
Institutional, bulk and trade delivery
Libraries, universities, bookshops and bulk buyers should request a quotation so that packing, pallet, courier, account and delivery requirements can be agreed in writing.
Legal delivery period
For consumer orders, we will deliver within the period agreed with you and within the legally required period unless another delivery period has been agreed.
